Flying Drones at Main Street Station
Thank you to Jay Willmott, the official Pit Boss of the drone flyer area. The crowd was mesmerized by drones, large and small all evening. Demonstrations were provided by the following organizations:

The Virginia Unmanned Aircraft Systems Council (VAUAS) is a chapter of the VABA and is led by Scott Strimple.

A note from Scott:
VAUAS is the unmanned aircraft chapter of the Virginia Aviation Business Association (VABA). The VAUAS focus is to advocate for the unmanned aircraft community. Our goals are to provide continuing education to our membership, build a competitive advantage for those who use and deploy UAS and represent the greater community in advocating for policy and regulatory issues at the local, state and federal levels of government that effect the growth of the unmanned aircraft industry.
